Prasun commenced his role as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Sheffield in February 2024. Prior to this, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a Senior AI Research Engineer at the University of Sheffield, from July 2022 to January 2024, under the leadership of Prof. Haiping Lu. He worked on a Wellcome Trust project for the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment assessment of cardiovascular diseases from cardiac MRI.

He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, in 2022. See his LinkedIn for more information.
